Locseek indexes and searches on your Mac. It never reads file contents and never sends your queries, file lists, or index metadata to a server.

No content reads

The local index contains only metadata needed for name search, such as name, parent path, size, time, and kind.

Indexing and search run locally. There is no account, telemetry, advertising SDK, or third-party analytics in the app.

The Mac App Store build runs in the App Sandbox and can index only locations you explicitly grant with the macOS folder picker.

Locseek does not claim to search inside documents. Its narrow scope makes the data boundary clear: names and essential metadata stay local.
